Claudia Jones was a Caribbean-born communist, cultural worker, and journalist who fearlessly organized for years in the United States. From the turmoil of World War II to the harsh repression of communists in the 1950s, Claudia's unwavering dedication to the movement continued even through her deportation to Britain in 1955. A prolific writer for the CPUSA's Daily Worker and founder of Britain's first major Black newspaper, the West Indian Gazette, Claudia continues to inspire working-class people fighting for a better world internationally!
