Total Liberation of Africa Shirt
This shirt was created during our Revolutionary Summer School 2023: Pan Africanism and the Struggle for Our Future. It serves as a reminder for us to continue building towards the total liberation of Africa.
Kwame Nkrumah (1909–1972) continues to be one of the most influential leaders in the global Pan African and socialist movements. Nkrumah became Prime Minister in Ghana’s first general elections in 1952 and struggled towards full independence for the country, which was achieved in 1957. He was then elected the first President of independent Ghana, and continued fighting for a unified and liberated African continent throughout his life.
